Emmenuel Episcopal Church | Erin & Scott

The day was sunny and bright ; clouds dotted the sky decorating it nicely. The temperature was just right not too warm not too cold and the world around me was quiet. Flowers and blossoms had freshly bloomed leaving the world filled with color – it was a perfect spring day.

Everyone was just arriving and preparing for the beautiful day ahead. I greeted everyone I saw with a smile and began to shoot all the details of the day.

While capturing the details, I met the wedding party and immediately appreciated them all. These people were my people. Why were they my people? They were nerdy; if you guys know anything about me you know I love anime, video games, books – all things nerdy and wonderful. As I captured everyone getting ready I chuckled at the references and jokes they made.

As the ladies got ready, I stole Erin’s gorgeous dress for a moment. Look at how beautiful it is! The light blue color and delicate lace details complimented their spring wedding perfectly, and Erin looked so beautiful in it!

Erin complimented her dress with beautiful 50’s style heels that I loved!

Erin was ready to go, while the rest of her girls finished getting ready she made her way outside to begin the first ceremony. The first ceremony was a ceremony for her Native American heritage, photography was not allowed but it was a true honor to witness such a beautiful ceremony and I’m so grateful!

Once the first ceremony was completed it was time for formals which we went through quickly but had a great time doing so. Between each “serious” pose we made sure to have fun and do something goofy too and with this crew it was pretty easy to get some awesome funny shots!

It was on to the ceremony after formals again, no photography was allowed during the ceremony to keep things sacred which I respected. It was beautiful and I was so happy for the new married couple!

The day ended with good food, beautiful speeches, and a potato dance! I have to say this wedding was so so gorgeous and I had a fabulous time!

I want to thank Scott and Erin for allowing me to capture their beautiful day! I had such a wonderful time and it was a fantastic kick start to the season! I thank you both for your patience, kindness, and just allowing me to be a part of something so special! I hope you love these images as much as I do! I wish you both good luck and nothing but love and happiness in your marriage!

Stay Inspired & Keep On Dreaming.
